Canada Welcomes 385 PNP Candidates In new Express Entry Draw

Express Entry candidates with provincial nominations were featured to apply for the permanent residence in the May 27 draw.

In total, 385 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were allotted to the candidates for Express Entry in the May 27 round.

All the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates in the pool of Express Entry are granted additional600 points in addition to their original human capital score. This is the reason that the least Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score requirement was 757 for this draw.

Due to the safety coronavirus norms came into existence on March 18, this is the sixth PNP only enticement from the Federal Express Entry system. Canada has been discontinuous between Express entry draws targeting PNP and Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates.

The draws aiming the CEC candidates have a comparatively lower CRS cutoff. The previous CEC-only draw welcomed candidates with 447 as the least CRS scores.
