New Express Entry draw issues 3,350 invitations to apply for Canadian permanent residence.

As per the latest news, the Canadian government has invited 3,350 express entry candidates to apply for permanent resident status draw held on 17 April.

The minimum required cut off for the draw was 451.

As you know, the Express Entry System maintains the class of aspirants supporting three of Canada's Main Federal Economic immigration Programs - Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Worker Class, and Federal Skilled Trade Class.

Qualifying candidates for mentioned categories are enrolled into the Express Entry pool and are therefore assigned a ranking score based on elements like age, proficiency in the English or French language, and considerable work experience.

The high ranking candidates are invited to apply for Canadian Permanent Residency through regular draws from the pool.

This draw proves to be record-breaking as Canada has issued a total sum of 27900 invitations in comparison to the 2018 year targeting a behemoth number of approvals for Express Entry Individuals. IRCC used its Tie Break rule on 17 April with the predefined time and date at 15:01:49 UTC on April 2, 2019.

This channelizes candidates with a CRS score above or equivalent to 451 making them qualify for Entry Express pool. They select the date and time to receive an ITA in the invitation round.
